Delegate Bookings for 2009

This page gives details of how to book places for delegates at the Event. It also explains what the options are, and the terms and conditions applicable to your booking. Book here.
Please note that we are happy to accept personal bookings in addition to those from employers.
Fees for the coming Event are shown below:

Please note:
* The reduced rate for members is available only until 1 November by which date name and membership number of delegate must be received. All bookings made on or after that day will be at the non-member rate.
* We will only accept a maximum of 20 bookings per organisation before the end of August.
The rates shown are exclusive of VAT
What the fee includes:
- Fees for Delegates booked on Option A include accommodation, refreshments, lunch on the days booked including dinner on Wednesday evening, the Conference Dinner on Thursday evening and all Social Events, attendance at all Conference Sessions.
- Fees for Delegates booked on Option B do not include accommodation, but do include refreshments, lunch on the days booked including the Conference Dinner on Thursday evening, attendance at all Conference Sessions.
- Fees for Delegates booked on Options C and D include refreshments, lunch on the days booked and attendance at all Conference Sessions.
- Fees for Delegates booked on Options E include the Conference Dinner and the evening's entertainment.
- There is no parking on site. Delegates are asked to make their own arrangements for travel, sharing vehicles where possible, and parking sensibly in neighbouring streets in areas where parking is allowed without restriction.
- The Event may be recorded (images and/or sound) and the booking of any individuals to attend this Event is on the understanding that consent is given to the use of any recorded images and sound for whatever purpose is deemed appropriate by the Chartered Institute of Housing, including publicising the Event in the future.
Accommodation:
- The Conference Hotel accommodation will be allocated in relation to date order of booking.
- Alternative Hotels will be Gleneagles Hotel, Corbyn Head, Toorak, Osborne, Livermead Cliff and Livermead House Hotels. Transport to and from the Conference Hotel will be provided.
- Accommodation booked for each person is for two nights. A special rate has been negotiated which means it is not possible to have one person stay for one night, and then a change in personnel with a second person in the same room for the second night.

Special Requirements:
- The Conference Hotel is partially accessible for wheelchairs. Please note that some of the rooms in use are a distance from the main conference hall and people with limited mobility may have some difficulty. Please state all special/dietary requirements on the booking form
Cancellations:
- Cancellation for delegates: prior to 1st January - no charge, on or after 1st January - no refund. Others may attend in place of those originally booked - please let Sadie Tearle know name(s) as soon as possible; an administration charge of £30 will be made for changes made on or after 1st January. Closing date for changes - Friday 4th April.
- Where changes are made on or after 1st January, the organisers are not able to change a category of booking. For example, if a delegate has booked option A, but cannot attend, the replacement also has to take option A.
Badges:
- Badges are the "tickets" to this event, and as such are a valuable document.
- After badges are issued, they are not transferable.
- Prior to printing of badges (15th February) booking coordinators may replace delegates in place of those originally booked - please let Sadie Tearle know name(s) as soon as possible.
- Entrance to the Conference and Exhibition hall, sessions and meals will be by badge or ticket only.
