Systems thinking: a better way to make the work work - Toby Rubbra

Systems thinking is being employed by a growing number of housing organisations. The results are impressive: all repairs completed in under a week, voids in days, rent arrears minimised - all results that put targets in the shade. In this workshop, facilitated by Toby Rubbra of Vanguard, the organisation that pioneered the systems approach, you will learn how it works and, moreover, discover how it challenges convention. Performance beyond targets by getting rid of targets; massive improvements in staff morale but no work on culture change (it comes free). You will learn that systems thinking is practical, effective and radical in terms of improvement; but you will also learn that it all starts with being prepared to change the way you think!
