10 Homes and Communities Agency update: Paul Abey, HCA Head of Strategy, Programme and Performance, will update delegates on the following areas:
- The HCA's work with local partners
- The Empty Homes Programme which is due to be announced soon
- Its enabling role, including how the HCA can help partners assess the viability of proposed sites and the changes in planning policy
- An update on its investment role, including what's happening locally
- The transfer of the RDA's assets to the HCA
- Its regulation role, from April 2012 the HCA will be taking responsibility for the regulation of social landlords
