"Sorry is a word that doesn't exist in 21st Century society." This was the key message from the "Scary Guy" at the CIH SW Housing Event in Torquay recently.
Former tattoo artist and computer programmer, the Scary Guy sporting a body covered in tattoos, an orange mohican and a mouthful of gold teeth, talked about his "Programme of Self Respect" which he teaches to kids worldwide to get "respect" back on the agenda and eliminate anti-social behaviour.
"Sorry is word that doesn't exist in the 21st Century. This is creating a world where social disease leads to hate, violence and anti-social behaviour. Kids are brought up on a diet of TV programmes and computer games where people lie, cheat, shout and even kill to get their own way," said the Scary Guy. "It's no wonder we have a world where anti-social behaviour is becoming a major problem and gun and knife culture is on the rise."
The Scary Guy works tirelessly worldwide with a variety of organisations, including the police, the church, detention centres and schools to get children to become aware of their behaviour, teaching older kids to spread the message to younger kids and their parents in his mission to rid the world of hate, violence and prejudice.
